CloudAge is committed to protecting your privacy and earning your trust. CloudAge does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. This policy discloses the privacy practices for the CloudAge Website. We use the information we collect about you from the CloudAge Website to process orders and maintain a relationship with you throughout the use of our products and services. This policy explains how your personal information is protected. We intend to give you as much control as possible over your privacy and personal information and the use we make of it in our business. This policy is subject to change, so please check back from time to time to stay informed. What kinds of personal information does CloudAge collect? In general, you can visit CloudAge on the Web without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. We ask for information from you in several ways from different parts of our Website.
- We ask for personal information from you when you sign up for a demo, subscribe to our newsletter, download an ebook or a whitepaper, schedule a call or submit an RFP. At that time, we ask for certain required information such as your name, e-mail address, and other information to process and fulfill your request. We also request certain other optional information that will help us meet your requirements effectively. We will let you know what information is optional, and you decide whether or not you want to provide that information.
- In the course of using our site, we automatically track certain information about you. This information includes what type of browser you are using. This information may include the URL that you just came from and the next URL you go to, regardless of whether these URLs are on our Website or not. It also includes your IP address. CloudAge uses this information to identify broad demographic trends that may be used to provide information tailored to your interests.
- We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us refine and improve the design and layout of our CloudAge site and the user experience.

We collect personal information to help us provide you a high-quality user experience and to aid CloudAge in understanding our customers better. - The personal information you choose to give us allows CloudAge to process and fulfill your request be it for a demo, newsletter subscription, eBook/ whitepaper download, call, or RFP.
- We use the personal information you give us to provide you with up-to-date information about CloudAge products and services. If you do not wish to receive our newsletter or emailers, you may unsubscribe by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in the e-mail footer.
- We may use the information we collect to notify you from time to time about important functionality changes to the Website, new CloudAge services and products, and special offers we think you will find valuable.
- When you provide us with personal information to enter a contest or promotion sponsored by CloudAge or its partners, we use this information to administer the contest and notify winners. We store all relevant information related to such contests and promotions.
- We will deliver targeted advertisements or promotions to our customers using the personal information you give us. We do not allow advertisers to have access to individual account information. These advertisements are usually banner ads and promotional e-mails.

When you supply personal information on a CloudAge site, you share that information only with CloudAge unless you are specifically told otherwise. If a company other than CloudAge is gathering or maintaining your data from our Website, you will be told before it is collected or transferred. You can always choose not to share the information. When companies other than CloudAge sponsor promotions, data collected on the CloudAge site in connection with these promotions may be shared with the sponsor. Does CloudAge share my information?
- Other than as stated in this policy, CloudAge does not disclose any of your personal information to third parties without your permission. Read the following sections to learn more.
- Business Partners and Sponsors CloudAge may disclose your personal information to business partners or sponsors, but you will be notified beforehand and will be able to choose not to share your information. Many promotions give you the chance to request additional information from the sponsors. When you ask for more information, you give CloudAge permission to send your personal information to the sponsor so they can fulfill your request. Much of the time, only your e-mail address will be shared. You will be notified if more information will be shared, and you can choose not to share the information. Third-party Data and Aggregate Data CloudAge disclose aggregated or anonymous statistics (for example, the percentage of users from the state of Maharashtra) to prospective partners and advertisers and for other lawful purposes.

- Do I have a choice about how my information is gathered, used, and distributed? Yes. When you register with CloudAge (and its associated websites), you can choose to receive newsletters, information, and e-mails from CloudAge and third parties. If you change your mind, you can simply unsubscribe by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in the e-mail footer so that the information will not be sent. It’s your choice. Some of our promotions may request your e-mail address so that you can receive periodic updates about the status of the promotion. When you participate in these types of promotions, you will automatically receive promotion-related e-mail; however, you can choose the no-e-mail option that some promotions offer. What security measures does CloudAge take to protect me? Your CloudAge account information and profile are password-protected so that you are the only one who has access to your personal information. You can edit your account information and profile by using your login name and password.
We recommend that you follow these guidelines to protect yourself:
- Do not tell anyone your password. If your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change it.
- Do not respond to unsolicited e-mail by giving your password, even if the e-mail claims to be from us. CloudAge will never ask you for your password in this way.
- When you are done using CloudAge, sign out of your account and close your browser window. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we are committed to protecting your personal information, CloudAge cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you send to us (or from our online services) and you do so at your own risk.
How does CloudAge protect your credit card and financial information?
- We are committed to protecting the privacy of your credit card and financial account information.
- We do not sell, trade, or rent your financial or credit card information.
- We do not make this information available to anyone without your permission.
- We may provide statistical data on our customers to advertisers, partners, vendors, and other reputable third parties, which is comprised of aggregate or anonymous data only, which does not contain any personally identifiable information. For example, we will not disclose that you purchased a specific product, but we might disclose statistics on how many customers have purchased a specific product. When you enter credit card information on our Website, we transmit the information in an encrypted format, using industry-standard, secure socket layer (SSL) encryption.
What are cookies and how does CloudAge use them?
Parts of our learning management system use “cookies” so that it can immediately recognize a user and then ascribe different permissions associated with functionality in the system. A “cookie” is a chunk of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer. Your browser settings must be set to accept cookies before you can log in or customize. Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser settings to refuse them. CloudAge does not use cookies to retrieve personal information about you from your computer. This policy does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers on our Website.
CloudAge uses cookies to:
- Locate your name and account information when you log in to your CloudAgeLMS so that you can access your account information. When you log in, the cookie is set, and when you sign out, the cookie is modified.
- Estimate the size of our audience. Each browser that accesses CloudAge is given a unique cookie, which is used to calculate how many people return to our Website, compare the number of registered and unregistered visitors to our site, and use customer interests and behavior to target our advertisements.
- Help CloudAge partners track visits and complete business transactions. This information is sometimes called “clickstream” or “click trail.”
- Track the way you use our promotions, contests, and sales. When a CloudAge-hosted promotion uses cookies, the information written to the cookie tracks the user’s progress through the promotion (for example, entries, submissions, and status in prize drawings).
- Measure the traffic to various areas of the CloudAge Website. We measure the areas of the network of Websites you visit and your visiting patterns in the aggregate. This research helps us understand how our customers are alike and how they differ. We may use this information to personalize the content information and design of our Website.
Changes to our privacy policy:
We reserve the right to amend all or part of our Privacy Policy from time to time. The version published on the Sites is the version currently in force. Changes to our Privacy Policy will be effective immediately once published on the Sites unless otherwise noted. Your use of the Sites following any amendments indicates your consent to the practices described in the revised Privacy Policy. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the e-mail address specified in your account) or using a notice on this website before the change becoming effective. The User (defined below) of this Application (defined below), agrees to be bound by this privacy policy (“Policy”). In the event the terms and conditions of the Policy are not agreeable to the User, the User is requested to refrain from using this Application.
CloudAge (“Developer”) is concerned about the privacy of the data and information of the Users accessing the Application, CloudAge, and the other associated/ancillary applications, websites and services managed by the Developer (“Application”) and otherwise engaging with the Developer through the Application.
This Policy is a legally binding document between the User and Developer. The terms of this Policy will be effective upon the User’s acceptance of the same (directly or indirectly in electronic form, by use of the Application) and will govern the relationship between the User and Developer.
This Policy forms an electronic contract within the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”), the rules made thereunder and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic documents/records in various statutes as amended by the IT Act, from time to time. This Policy does not require any physical, electronic or digital signature.
This Policy shall, at all times be read and construed in consonance and along with the terms of use and access available at (“T&Cs”).
Developer will not differentiate between who is using the device to access the Application, so long as the log in/access credentials match with yours. In order to make the best use of the Application and enable your Information (defined below) to be captured accurately on the Application, it is essential that you have logged in using your own credentials.
This Policy highlights inter alia the type of data shared/collected from a User in the course of the User’s usage of the Application. The Policy further intends to apprise the User of the purposes for which the data of the User is collected and the Application’s policy with regard to sharing such personal information with third party entities.
As used herein, “you”, “user” or “Users” shall mean (as the context may require) the following:
(a) anyone who uses or accesses/views the CloudAge Platform and/or avails the Services on any computer, mobile phone, tablet, console, or other device
The terms “We”/ “Us”/ “Our” individually and collectively refer to and are synonymous with the term ‘Developer’ and the terms “You” / “Your” / “Yourself” are to be construed to be synonymous with the term ‘User’.
All defined terms used within this Policy but not specifically defined herein shall draw their meaning from the definition ascribed to such terms under the T&Cs.
1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Developer may during the course of the User’s usage of the Application collect the following personal and non-personal information and such other information from the Users for accessing the Application (“Information”), as part of the voluntary registration process or interaction on the Application or combination thereof, as may be required from time to time. The Information shall be collected in order to conduct operations on the Application. The Application collects or can request the below mentioned Information from the Users:
1.1 Personal Information:
- Name of the User;
- Phone number (mobile and/or alternative) of the User;
- Email Id (primary/alternative) of the User;
- Sensitive personal data such as passwords
1.2 Non-Personal information:
- Such information that may be required to access and operate the Application.
1.3 Any Information collected has been so collected by obtaining the requisite consents from the Users (if Users are above legal age and from the parents/ legal guardians of the Users if the Users are below legal age) as required under applicable law. The consent taken includes the right to collect, store and disseminate the Information.
1.4 Please note that in addition to the above, the duration of use of the Application by the User may also be logged and stored by the Application.
1.5 The Information may be collected and/or stored in electronic form, however, Developer is hereby authorized by the User to collect/store such information in physical form as well.
1.6 The Developer may share the Information of a User with any third-party entities subject to such entities adopting reasonable safety standards with respect to the use of such Information.
2. REPRESENTATION AND WARRANTIES
Every User hereby represents and warrants to the Developer that:
- all Information provided by the User is true, correct, current and updated;
- all Information provided by the User and the provision of such Information by the User does not in any manner violate any third-party agreement, law, decree, order or judgement;
- all Information provided by the User does not belong to any third party, and if it does belong to a third party, the User is duly authorized by such Third Party to use, access and disseminate such Information;
- the officers, directors, contractors or agents of Developer shall not be responsible in any manner whatsoever with regard to the authenticity or veracity of the Information that a User may provide to the Application; and
- the User shall indemnify and hold harmless Developer and each of its officers, directors, contracts or agents and any third party relying on the Information provided by the User in the event the User is in breach of this Policy.
Developer represents and warrants to every User that:
- it shall not collect the User’s sensitive personal data unless such sensitive personal data is collected for a lawful purpose for which such collection of data is necessary;
- it shall not retain any sensitive personal data for longer than such sensitive personal data is required or can be lawfully used;
- in the event Developer collects Information directly from the User, Developer shall make reasonable effort to apprise the User of the purpose of such collection of Information, the intended recipient of the Information and the details of the agencies collecting and retaining the Information; and
- it has in place the security practices and procedures prescribed under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (“IT Rules”).
3. PURPOSE AND USE OF INFORMATION
All Information collected/stored by the Application shall be used for:
- providing information about new educational products and services to the Users;
- to continually improve the existing Application and service offerings;
- to implement the necessary security practices to ensure that all personal data are protected;
- to administer the User accounts in normal course of business;
- to contact the Users in case where fraud, illegal activities or breach of privacy is recorded;
- to enable the employees of or persons acting on behalf of the Developer to communicate with the User, as and when necessary, in order to provide the services requested by such User;
- such other purposes that Developer, at its sole discretion, however subject to the principles contained in this Policy, may deem fit.
4. SHARING OF INFORMATION
Every User hereby expressly agrees that Developer may share the Information collected from such User with its affiliates, employees, and such other individuals and institutions located within or outside India from time to time to ensure efficient management of Application traffic, to detect and prevent identity theft and other illegal acts, and to respond to legal, judicial, quasi-judicial law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as required and permitted by law and for such other purposes that the Developer may deem fit from time to time.
5. DATA RETENTION
Developer shall retain Information for as long as is reasonably necessary in relation to the purposes for which this data was collected. In many instances, Developer shall retain Information that is necessary for operation of the Application by the User, which may include maintaining this Information beyond when the User ceases using the Application.
However, all Information pertaining to chats and student side test attempts shall be retained by Developer for a minimum period of 2 years from date of receipt of such Information, after which such Information, if deemed fit by the Developer, shall be erased from the Developer servers and databases.
6. PROTECTION OF INFORMATION
6.1 Developer understands and acknowledges the importance of security and protection of the Information provided by and/or collected from the Users. Pursuant to the same, Developer shall make the best efforts to ensure protection of Information by use of such security measures and programs that it may deem fit for the purpose. We shall employ best efforts to protect the Information against any unauthorized, illegal and fraudulent use of such Information.
6.2 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, Developer shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or misuse of the Information caused to the User, if such loss, damage or misuse is attributable to an event beyond the control of or attributable to Developer or a force majeure event.
6.3 Developer shall ensure that the Application shall adopt appropriate encryption and security measures to prevent any hacking of the information of the Users and third parties and shall ensure that the User shall not be required or asked to disclose any Information, which may be prejudicial to the interests of the User.
6.4 Developer shall use the Information collected from the Users in accordance with applicable laws including but not limited to the IT Act and the rules made thereunder and use the Information only for the purpose for which it was furnished.
6.5 Developer has appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures in relation to the Application. The servers of the Application are accessible only to the authorized personnel and any Information of the User shall be shared with the authorized personnel only on a need-to-know basis to facilitate the services requested by the User. Developer shall endeavor to safeguard the confidentiality of a User’s personally identifiable information, however, the transmissions made by means of the Internet cannot be made absolutely secure by the Application. The User agrees and acknowledges that Developer shall not be liable for disclosure of any information due to errors in transmission or any unauthorized acts of third parties.
6.6 The User agrees and acknowledges that Developer shall be entitled to share the Information where such sharing is necessary for the lawful performance of the contractual obligations existing between Developer and the User and for such purposes as it may deem fit, however, the disclosure of Information shall be in accordance with this Policy, the IT Act and the rules made thereunder.
7. OPTION TO OPT OUT AND WITHDRAWAL OF INFORMATION
The User has the option of not providing its Information to the Developer. Further, Information provided and/or collected by the Developer may be withdrawn at any time during or pursuant to usage of the Application by a User. Users desirous of withdrawing the Information shall send an email to the grievance officer and request for such withdrawal. The Developer may subsequent to such withdrawal of information, at its sole discretion continue or discontinue the provision of its services to such User.
8. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL
The User may report violation of breach of privacy, Information or identify theft or grievances in relation to the Information shared, collected, stored or disseminated by Developer in relation to the Application, to the grievance office. The details of the grievance office are as below:

9. UPDATION OF POLICY
Developer reserves the right to change or update this Policy at any time without notice to the User. Such updates or changes to these Policy shall take effect from the date indicated in the updated Policy. You are advised to review our Policy periodically for any changes.
10. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Policy is governed and construed in accordance with laws of India. In the event of any dispute arising between the parties with respect to this Policy, the dispute shall be referred to an arbitral tribunal comprising of 3 (three) arbitrators, wherein each party shall appoint one arbitrator and the third arbitrator shall be appointed by the aforesaid two arbitrators; and the arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act of 1996. The language of arbitration proceeding shall be English. The seat and venue of arbitration shall be New Delhi, India and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on the parties. Subject to this arbitration clause for dispute resolution, this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
